Fresno’s Gongalsky Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced that it fined Fresno left wing Igor Gongalsky an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #853 against Idaho on Mar. 29.
Gongalsky is fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

These guys are big and strong. Just try to dislodge the puck from them and you'll experience their power. John Morlang took on that role last season when he led the Falcons in goals. He's missed more than half of this season's games with injuries, and Gongalsky has emerged as a force at power forward.
